Janhavi Kapoor Didn't Stick To Vogue's Dress Code But Her Outfit Was All Everyone Could Talk About!

After rocking up the runway at India Couture Week, Bollywood’s celebrities took a break from their traditional outfits. They traded their lehengas and saris for slinkier duds and showed up at Vogue India’s annual Beauty Awards last evening. The invite to the event came with a dress code – Black and gold. But it looks like most of these ladies skipped over that part! Here’s what Janhavi Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Kangana Ranaut, Katrina Kaif and others wore to beauty’s night out.

Kangana Ranaut kept it fiery red and structured in a gown by Gaurav Gupta. While we’re not the biggest fans of the outfit, her makeup and hair is probably the reason she won an award – fierce and fabulous!

There was a lot going on with Esha Gupta’s Rami Kadi number but like Kangana her hair and makeup were the best parts of her #OOTN.

Another red gown on the red carpet, Katrina Kaif showed up in a wrap gown from Ong Oaj Pariam. Do you love that slit as much as we do?

And finally, we have a celebrity who stuck to the dress code! Sonakshi Sinha kept it gold and glamorous in a gown from Ali Younes Couture.

At this point, we’re thinking a couple of celebrities planned their red outfits. Yami Gautam threw on a red suit from Aleka Akhmadullina.

All eyes have been on Janhavi Kapoor ever since (and even before) her movie released. Last night was no less. In her Ralph and Russo gown, she was definitely the centre of everyone’s attention.

Miss World, Manushi Chhillar did good by sticking to the dress code. In her Julian MacDonald number, we feel like she was probably the best-dressed celebrity in the house!

Was the dress code actually red? Did we read wrong? Dia Mirza stopped by in a sexy, red Grecian number by Nikhil Thampi.
